Game Identity

Scoring Mechanics

Rules & Validation

Core Mechanics

• Target Numbers: 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, and the Bullseye.
• Marks: Each target requires 3 marks to "close".
  • Single segment = 1 mark
  • Double segment = 2 marks
  • Triple segment = 3 marks
  • Single Bull = 1 mark
  • Double Bull = 2 marks
• Scoring (Standard):
  • Once a player has 3 marks on a number, it is "open" for them to score points.
  • If they hit an open number and an opponent hasn't closed it yet, they earn points equal to the number (or 25/50 for Bull).
  • Once all players have closed a number, no one can score on it anymore.

Validation Rules

• Hand Validation: A turn consists of 3 darts.
• Max Marks: Marks cannot exceed 3 per number (extra hits become points or are ignored if closed by everyone).

Scoring Formulas

• Standard Cricket: Points added to the active player's total.
• Cut-Throat Cricket: Points added to the totals of all opponents who haven't closed the number yet. Lowest score wins.

Win Conditions

• Condition: A player wins when they have closed all target numbers (15-20 + Bull) AND have a score equal to or better than all opponents.
  • Standard: Highest score wins.
  • Cut-Throat: Lowest score wins.
• Tie-Breaker: The game continues until one player meets both conditions (all closed + score advantage).
