- Name: Baseball (Darts)
- Player Count: 2–9 players. Standard: 2–4.
- Teams: Optional — can be played individually or as two teams.
- Theme: Darts game structured around 9 innings, targeting numbers 1–9 each inning. Mirrors baseball scoring — score as many "runs" (points) as possible in each inning.
Scoring Mechanics
- Scoring Variant: Accumulative — scores grow over 9 innings. Highest total wins.
- Target Score: Highest score after 9 innings.
- Unit of Scoring: Points per inning (multiples of the inning number).
- Lower vs. Higher: Higher score wins.
Rules & Validation
Per-Inning Logic
- Inning number = Target number (Inning 1 → hit 1s, Inning 2 → hit 2s, …Inning 9 → hit 9s).
- Each player throws 3 darts per inning.
- Scoring: Only darts hitting the current inning's number count.
- Single = inning number × 1 run
- Double = inning number × 2 runs
- Triple = inning number × 3 runs
- Darts hitting any other number score 0 runs.
- Shutout rule (optional): If a player scores 0 in an inning, their score for that inning is halved (rounded down). This rewards consistency.
Validation Rules
- Per-player per-inning score: 0, or multiples of the inning number (up to 3× the inning number per dart, max 3 darts).
- Total innings: always 9.
Special Actions / Bonuses
- 9th Inning Drama: Some groups play extra innings if tied after 9 innings (same as baseball overtime).
- Home Run: Hitting a triple in the current inning's number = maximum possible score for that inning (3 darts × triple each = 9× inning number). Celebrated with a "HR" badge in history.
Win Conditions
- Condition: After all 9 innings, the player with the highest cumulative run total wins.
- Tie-Breaker: Extra innings (targeting number 10, then 11, etc.) until one player outscores the other in the same extra inning.
